Our Doctor

Dr. Mahdiya Ahmed

A caring dentist with a passion for patient care, Dr. Mahdiya Ahmed is proud to be your family’s dental care provider! Dr. Ahmed graduated magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and behavior. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the New York University College of Dentistry.

Dr. Ahmed has always strived to serve her community. During her time as a student, she received the Student Leadership and Service Award for her work as a community-based learning fellow. At NYU, Dr. Ahmed served as the Muslim Students Association Community Outreach Coordinator, organizing oral health screenings at local churches, mosques, and soup kitchens. She also created a weekend tutoring and mentoring program for refugees of all ages in Springfield, Massachusetts.

As a dentist, Dr. Ahmed finds her work regarding because she can make a tangible difference in her patients’ lives. She is proud to serve her patients by relieving their pain and helping them achieve their best smiles. Above all else, Dr. Ahmed enjoys getting to know her patients and providing quality dental care.

When not treating patients, Dr. Ahmed loves spending time with her parents and siblings. She has two younger sisters and one younger brother. She also loves The Office!
